I have not blogged for 2 years. I am now on a Road Trip so decided to keep my friends and families updated through the blog again. Welcome back!

I am Robin Miller and I started this blog in June of 2014 as a way to keep friends and family updated on the painful journey of my husband’s battle with pancreatic cancer.

I also used the blog to record our travels, boating, and fishing adventures during his last year of life and to share recipes.

Darrel died on October 18, 2014.

The blog has since morphed into a travel and food blog. I have traveled around the United States, mostly for work, over the years. I also have spent a lot of time in Mexico and British Columbia, Canada.

I also enjoy cooking and learning about food. I read multiple cooking magazines each month and have read many biographies of cooks and cookbooks.

Original Blog Purpose from June 2014:
This blog is about Darrel & Robin Miller who have been married for 32 years and found out 5 months ago that Darrel has pancreatic cancer.  Most of the June 2014 posts consist of emails that were sent out to friends and family to keep them updated on his condition.

This blog will continue to post updates as we go on this cancer journey together.  It will also include our boating and fishing travels, travels to other places if health permits, and also feature some recipes that are either supportive of eating a healthy anticancer diet, or just family favorites.

I hope it is helpful someday to others who find themselves unexpectedly on a cancer journey.
